'32D Looks Fake to Me

    This does not look authentic. Any reason to believe it is the real deal?

    Very quick look, without side by side comparisons, it looks cast not struck. What's with the date?

    Fake. George's hair is wrong, the eagle's beak is wrong.

    Totally fake. It's got a 1990's portrait. Not to mention it has a P mintmark on the obverse...

    That one made the rounds. Both Philly AND Denver mints.

    Looks like they tried to copy the 1990s noodle-hair, and accidentally picked up the mint mark.

    Thanks for all of the responses. The D mint mark also looked fishy to me as well as the lettering on the reverse, especially the e pluribus unum.
