1936 or 1938 penny

Hello, i was just wondering if this coin is rare. Its shiny on both sides and i have no clue about this coin. Thanks for helping!

Not rare, just Post Mint damaged. It's a wheat cent.

 

It's a very common date wheat cent and it has been polished.

 

You can't read the date because it has been on a buffing wheel. Copper is very soft and the date was buffed off.

 

Your coin has been Whizzed clean with some type of wire wheel and/or buffing wheel. The black spots on the obverse are signs of how much corrosion your coin has been exposed to.
