Yeah, I'm not a gambler - but if I had gone in on VaultBox, and that was one of the coins I received, it might be harder for me to stay strong.

The inspiration here should be to walk away and never do it again. Lightning striking twice and all that.

Very nice coin in that holocore slab, Edwin! Did you buy this on the aftermarket? Series 9 release would have been in February.

 

Is it made of Chocolate or did you find it metal detecting in the Tundra?

I used to work the cage in the casinos in Colorado. A chess friend of mine that I used to work for (he had the contract for janitorial services at a health club) said his wife was going up there and playing the slots. One day she wins $10,000. I said, that is the worst thing that can happen. He says what are you talking about? I said the only way to win is if she walks away right now and never goes back. But now she thinks she knows what she is doing and she is going to give it all back and more. It didn't take too long before her bad check was posted in my cage and all over Central City.
He came to me one day and said everything I said came true and they were getting a divorce. They were married for a long time (20 years?) with 2 or 3 kids.
This has nothing to do with Ed which was a great buy/score. I think the way these things are set up/ planted, is that 95% are going to be slight losers, with a few break evens or marginal wins, and 1 (or 2) nice scores.
