Around 2020 I was contemplating never searching quarters again due to the lack of silver and West Point coins in my area. Then covid had happened and my local branch informed me that I would no longer be able to get any more coins and the rolls I got that day would be my last from them indefinitely. I figured with no way to get more coin or the ability to dump them, that I would set those rolls aside for a rainy day. So fast to a couple weeks ago. I had a roll from that time period with a bicentennial ender that I decided to open up and the last coin I looked at was a 2004 d high leaf Wisconsin quarter. Needless to say this is my second best quarter find of my life besides my profile picture. A 1876 seated liberty quarter that was my first silver found in 2016.
Great find, I just started going through a bunch that I have saved up since 2019 earlier this week. Are you going to get back into searching? Maybe you can find another bank that will sell boxes or rolls.
After the coins I have found I’m really contemplating looking for another bank. I just found a 1900 v nickel yesterday from a similar in age lot I had set aside for nickels.
