Here are the coins I purchased in 2025

Box-of-25 Set (random coins I like):

This coin was purchased for my Type set, but then I bought a new example. Problem is, I wax-and-wane on which coin I like better, so I wont be selling this "dupe" any time soon as it may very well end up back in my Set as the representative coin for the Type 4 Seated Liberty Dimes.

I purchased a few Clad Roosevelt dimes for the Type Set, this one ended up not being selected for my main collection, but I also didn't want to sell it (yet).

I love this coin. I was never planning on "upgrading" it, but something fell into my lap soon after buying this coin, when I wasn't even looking. As much as I love the "look" of this coin, it's now probably going to stay in the side collection for the long term.

Sort of an average Clad Quarter I was thinking about for the Type set, but didn't make the cut. Two photos of the same coin from different lighting angles. 84267259 template.jpg

A nice "Even looking" Five Centavos for my Type set, but I wanted an MS example to match the rest of US Philippines coins in my Type set, so I upgraded it but decided to not sell the original coin.

A stunningly bright, white, lustrous coin. Likely going to end up in my Type set, but I do really like the lower graded but Toned currently occupying the spot, so this coin is relegated to the side for now, but wont be sold.

As a testament to how little I know about the US Philippines Type coins, I wrongly assumed this coin was part of that set. However, this is a "world" coin commemorative, so not strictly part of the set, although it sort of still fits in in my mind. So I hem and haw about if this should be on the outside looking in, or just moved to inside the set with an asterisk. I really love the champagne look of the reverse.

That's it for coins purchased in 2025 for my side collection.

From the coins above, I really could sell them all except for the CircCam 25C Seated coin, and the MS66 Twenty centavos.

Very nice. Funny thing is, I too Added a With Arrows Seated Dime & a lower grade 1839 Seated Quarter to my sets in 2025.
I don't know if this something you do but I usually try to figure out what Fortin variety my Seated Dimes are. I had to give up on my 1854; just too many.
Congrats again on your new coins. James

Some excellent "random" coins! I would consider the Philippines Peso as part of the "US Philippines" set (or at least close enough). It was minted in San Francisco and it commemorates an American General.

See now you're giving me even more reasons to want to include it! :D It was in, then it was out, and unlike the Circle of Trust, I think this coin is likely to end back up in my US Type set even though I kicked it out earlier this year. I feel there is a good argument either way, but I think you are helping me get there.
