https://www.ebay.com/itm/317614373381 The seller has many 1 oz silver coins and they are all Chinese fakes.
The sellers don't care! They will just curse you out and tell you to to mind your business. It has happened to me.
Buyer be ware. Do your due diligence. If something is too good to be true, it usually is. You can't protect people from themselves......
I gave up on reporting fakes. I saw a coin advertised as a copy with no corresponding mark on the coin.
They have been reported several times. Read all the negative feedback that they have received. eBay couldn't care less. As long as they get their 13% all is good.
As long as ebay continues to put profits first this will continue also just try and leave negative feedback on just about any transaction the seller simply calls ebay it get it reversed pretty poor if you ask me ;(
Only multiple lawsuits can fix this. LVMH is a prime example. Until then, anything that sold is technically revenue. Maybe you can charge a commission fee on advising what's genuine or fake. Capitalism at it's finest.
I feel sorry for the honest sellers because I don’t even bother looking there anymore. I think the company must be run by scammers too. Honest executives would do something about it. Even if it has COPY on it, eBay’s policy says no replica coins allowed. I’ve reported these when it says “copy” or “replica” right in the listing and nothing happens.
2 weeks ago, I reported a seller for counterfeit 1916 d mercury dimes and CC morgan dollars at $29 a pop. Not even copy stamped on coins. Their reply was seller is in compliance with their policies. Buyer beware. Regards, Mike.
