I don't see any doubling at all, sorry. There's a slight halo of red left around the digits so maybe that's creating an optical illusion for you?

 

I don't see the repunch or the doubling. Perhaps a closer photo.
Many of the 1955-S's were saved because it was the last business strike S for a while. I have a nice MS example somewhere.

I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary. If there is doubling on the date it is usually worthless doubling caused by die deterioration. But that is not a doubled die variety unfortunately.

I’m not seeing any doubling but that mint halo around the details is nice. I can’t tell if that’s an RPM or a small die chip or not.

 

There is a listing on Variety Visa for 1955-S DDO/001. It shows a die chip on the left
wheat ear as a ID marker. The hub doubling is a microscopic imprint. Double eye lid
marker is key.
