OK so Meow has been CRH pennies pretty hard in the last few months. Meow during that time was not feeling like posting here so just put this penny in the keeper pile. Meow found this penny about a month ago. Meow likes to share what Meow finds interesting as money and value is not really what Meow is chasing. So what Meow finds and shows here seems to be unimpressive to many as most of Meows collection is found CRH. Meow has in the past years ago when Meow started in numismatics bought a few coins on fleabay just for fun. No spectacular errors, at most some full step soap bar ANACS nickels or silver ones. With all that said this 1970 s/s is about as good as Meow is ever going to find. Besides the AU 1960 d/d DDO-01 Meow found in the first few weeks Meow started CRH. Meow is quite sure this penny is a d/d as it is not a flat shelf connected to the edge. It seemed to be hard to capture in the photos but there is a valley in between the doubling and the echo has a domed surface meaning not flat like MD. The penny is also in pretty good condition too, and Meow would say it is AU. Just thinking back it is funny how Meow had some pretty good beginner's luck finding that 1960 d/d. But also now recalls that just the second roll Meow ever CRH nickels had a silver war in it. Meow does not CRH nickels too often, but to this day has only found one other silver war nickel. anyway, Meow hopes that this recent find is interesting enough for the members here. Purrs.
