89 and 59 lincolns

    hi all i found these out in the yard,,, can anybody tell me if there is anything special about them. the 89 looks like something with the date,,the 59 looks like the Lon liberty is right out on the rim IMG_0644.JPG IMG_0645.JPG IMG_0644.JPG IMG_0645.JPG

    I'd like to say yes, but door # 2 says, sorry. The older Lincoln's right through the mid 60's often had the L squished up against the rim as well as the lettering in In God We Trust. Redesigns corrected this later on. The 1989 just appears to have some machine doubling, no added value, but the result of die deterioration.
