They're not particularly valuable, which is one reason why I got them, but here's today's acquisitions. And the best part about these is I got all 3 of them for a dollar. There was other stuff gotten today, too, but they're not errors, and not included in that $1 total for these three. 2000-P dime with, what I believe to be, a missing reverse clad layer. 1993-P (slightly) misaligned die, and 1996-P off-center strike.
The 2000 P Looks to be an authentic missing clad layer. Nice acquisition. Thanks for sharing. Do you know that the missing clad layer could be either on the obverse or the reverse side. It all depends on how the blank planchet with the missing clad enters the chamber to be struck with the dies The Misaligned Die Strike and the Broadstruck Dimes are really great. The Missing Clad Dime does have a good premium!
The weight seems to be correct on the missing clad layer. The missing clad layer and broadstrike should both have good value. The MAD seems large enough to be worth more than face.
What's the giveaway that it's a broad strike? I'm still in the process of getting my feet wet when it comes to error coinage, so I'm kinda of at a loss on this one. It looked like an off-center to me, so that's what I had assumed it was, albeit incorrectly.
