Hello. Do you have pictures of your coin. A lot will depend on condition and it there is any damage. Many of these haven't survived without some sort of damage although it doesn't always affect the value.

 

My first new addition in quite a while. I have been searching for an example of this because visually it is a lot different than most in the series.

1577 Brunswick-Calenberg Thaler



Obverse: Wildman holding shield of 4-fold arms with suspended chain of order in front of him, 2 legends, date divided at bottom.
Script: Latin
Lettering: ERIC. D. G. DVX. - BRVN. E. LVNE(B).
EX. DVRIS. - GLORIA.

Reverse: Crowned imperial eagle, 'Z4' in orb on breast.
Script: Latin
Lettering: RVDOL(FVS). (Z.) ROM. IMP. SE(M)P. AVGV(STVS).

Composition: Silver
Weight: 29 g
Diameter: 41 mm

 

This will come off of lay-a-way just in time for Christmas. Germany/Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, 1601 Thaler, PCGS XF-40.

It's nice to find these straight graded.

Here is my example of the type and it is not straight graded. XF details, cleaned Yours is nicer. Good pickup.

I procured my first from coin brother, @Randy Abercrombie , and I continue to search for them in my weekly perusals.
