My wife got this coin in change yesterday. It's one of my more messed up coins in my collection. What do you have?
1964D Lincoln Memorial Cent. Holed. Bent. Post Mint damage on obverse and reverse. Anything else? o_O
Everyone votes and the winner gets it. A 1964D Lincoln Cent holed and damaged. :woot:

I will forever be grateful to the PCGS grading service that they condense the Sm. White Anac description: CLEANED SCRATCHED POLISHED CORROSION TO:
    Env. Damage- XF Details.

It's a bullet hole. It hit Abe on the side, made a U-Turn and hit him in the back of the head.

    What's today's date again?

@dwhiz. Do you know if the year 1876 has any particular significance? Very interesting group. Thanks for posting. James

I'll see your messed up 1876 half and raise you this one.

    1876 was the US centennial.

I call this the Armageddon Quarter. Found in an intersection crosswalk on August 28, 2024. I forgot to record the time but it was in the A.M. on my way to the bus station.

It's a 2006 Colorado Quarter. You can see what's left of the "Colorful Colorado" banner on the First image about 3/4 down.
