Just got an email about it. Next show is Feb 18-20. Glad it’s back. Have usually attended one show a year there. Cheap trip from NorCal. A plus is my wife likes Long Beach. Mike
I received that email too and this part was perplexing: "The first event under the new ownership will be a smaller and more intimate “invitational” edition of the show at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center, Hall C. The show will be open to attendees February 18-20, 2026, with dealer setup on Tuesday, February 17." Invitational? Smaller and more intimate? Implies that it's not open to the general public. Or is the "invitational" part a separate event, but if that's the case, why not put more details (date/time etc) in that paragraph? I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but I carefully read it three times and I can't interpret it any other way than that they're starting out with some sort of "good old boys club" event. If true, I think it would turn off a lot of people. Wait and see I guess.
