1995 Nickel

Am I correct to say this is a greaser? Found in pocket change today.

Not sure. Need to see the complete coin on both sides.

 

I apologize, my phone doesn't take good quality pictures and it's too big for the microscope.

 

Whatever it is it’s affecting both sides of the coin. From your first photo it looked like adhesive on the coin. From these recent photos I think there was something on the die and grease is what comes to mind. Thank you for the extra photos.

Looks like grease. Minor error, but a keeper.

 

One says one thing and the other says another. Toss a coin to see who wins. Make it a Lincoln cent.

 

When the letters and digits are missing like that it is from a grease filled die that wasn't completely cleaned out. I'll try to find mine and post a photo. I'm too lazy to take it out of the flip. I got this when they first came out in circ and at first, I didn't understand why it was in such worn shape.
