No More! Today was the last day for the production of the Lincoln cent. They said the last two cents will have an Omega privy mark and will be held at the mint for a future sale.

The last of the cents produced will no doubt be made by worn dies. But I can also see our government producing new dies just for the purpose of making the last cents.
I heard that they last cents will actually be hammered instead of set in a press. And at a big party, too.
There will still be real 2026 cents in proof and uncirculated sets quite likely. There just won't be any made for circulation anymore.
