There is a huge difference between this VDB and the VDB in the Ebay...Still a Cherrypickers Paradise 2017' thread. This VDB has the squared off rim (both inner and outer) along with at least 3 visible diagnostics of a proof VDB. If PCGS missed this I would send it in again, either back to PCGS or NGC or Anacs.
Just to put to bed some nonsense here. It graded at PCGS, and was only sent in once. It is a matte proof (obviously) and I should be able to reveal it soon with full slab shots. ...AND if anyone wants to get a sneak peak, it will be at Long Beach... but you are sworn to super secret secrecy until the reveal
Well, I took it over to Pcgs forums and so far one " laugh out loud " . With many more to come . https://forums.collectors.com/discu...e-say-you-shouldnt-buy-from-great-southern/p9
Some one ought to tell PCGS that there clock is goofy. It says you posted it tomorrow. (Well, 6 hours from now.)
And where would that lie have occurred? Neither of the two posters after your post as of the time of my reply have said anything remotely close to that
It looks like somewhere between a PR64RB and PR65RD to me although it is hard to tell from images. I thought there was no doubt on this one. It has all the diagnostics and looks very much like a twin a to another one that I have been lucky enough to have access to seeing in person. That one is 64RB but might be under graded a bit. Congratulations on a super rare find to your friend!! It is nice to see that someone finally actually found a genuine VDB proof. There have been more misses on hopeful VDB proof finds than any other coin I can think of.
