A lil HELP please..... Anyone???

    This is a 1972 D cent I found and its missing the "LI" in liberty also a has what looks like some kind of error from the head straight over the "I" in "IN" on the obverse... Then there is also a couple things on the back like the "E" in "States"...

    I'm going to say not an error but I'm sure others will chime in.

    The missing LI looks like a filled die error. The other things are gouges and scratches that were caused after it left the mint. Too bad it has all the damage, since the filled die is a nice find.

    The damage kills the value. Even if it was undamaged, this type of error only carries a small premium, so you wouldn't get rich off of it. Still, it's a cool circulation find for someone who is interested in collecting mint errors
