    By George...I think your right...looks like a space capsule to me....very interesting...you should submit to NGC or PCGS and see what they say. Nice and different coin.

    I believe it was in a 64 slab (can't remember whether NGC or PCGS), and it has already been sold.

    How bout an entry from DC/MM $1 roller (prototype for the gold dollar)
    not really apollo 11 but at the same time it is :D (don't recall anyone else planting an American flag on the moon :D )

    Here are two Flightline medallions and a signed cover from Gemini Titan (GT) 10.
    It is believed that all Flightline medallions were flown. Unlike the Robbins Medals that started with Apollo 7, the Flightline medallion are somewhat steeped in mystery, there are no records of the manufacturer nor of the quantity of medallions made for each flight although that number is believed to be 100 or less. Flightline medallions were made for all GT flights and there were medallions produced for the Apollo 1 flight.

    This is a very rare GT-10 cover signed by John Young and Michael Collins. The medal is a flown GT-10 Flightline Medallion.

    mine who is an Apollo 11 denier (ugh). I have all the US Mint's 2019 Apollo 11 coins.
