Double Guess the Grade (toned 1901-O Morgan)

    I would recommend to not send that again. It does have the look of questionable color (which is what PCGS would likely call it as well). And it does not look like it would be higher than MS 65. With grading fees, a 65 grade is about the lowest one can get on a common date Morgan to break even vs raw.

    Oh, I get that. I just like the coin, my Morgan collection is mostly MS except for the typical non attainable key dates. It's a matter of what I want to see in a slab in my collection. My avatar should be a mule. :D I already have a few of that mint and date, but at some point, I will want to downsize with the best possible examples of each.

    It's a perfectly fine coin to keep and like. And there is no need to spend more money when it is unlikely to add value to the coin in this case. I have several coins in details slabs that are in my collection and I like them a lot. If it is super bothersome, just cover the label and enjoy the coin. :D
