1794 half cent real or fake

    Here Is A 1794 Half Cent. Can Anyone Tell Me If It Is Real Or Is It Fake... I Really Appreciate The help

    my guess would be fake. Lettering on reverse looks off to me.

    Not genuine, looks to be a gallery mint fantasy piece :rolleyes: compare it to coinfacts

    It is real but not genuine & not a product of the Gallery Mint.

    GMM pieces had "COPY" counterstamped either on the obverse or reverse, it was a choice of the buyer. When I bought mine I had them all stamped on the reverse.

    As others have noted above the lettering is off vs. the authentic coin, and even vs. the GMM pieces that were created ca. 1996-97 or so.
