SO! How many of you have ever completed a collection for ten dollars? I have! Today I got a one cent piece from Prince Edward Island in Canada, dated 1871. Its the only coin ever issued for the island. :p

I just completed my first set. A set of Aussie 1c pieces. I have had most of them for years, but finally got round to buying the last three I needed. Cost be $20 though.

Congratulations on a great achievement. That 1930 1c is really a tough coin. How did you manage to get that one?

I am missing 1930 and 1925 to complete my 1c collection. And I have even lost my hope on ever getting a 1930 dated 1c.

I guess now that you mention it, I have completed a collection for ten dollars. So far as I am aware, Liberia only minted 2 half cent pieces. Both of them were under $2 each (don't remember what the shipping was).

I actually complete another set, all at once. I got both the 1 and 2 Franc coins from 1948 for St. Pierre & Miquelon. These are the only 2 ever minted, and I got them in BU in a black coin holder with both coins (for those of you from Cheektowaga, NY) side by each:smile I'll post pics as soon as my 14 year old daughter gives me back my digital camera.
