Holy Smokes - TV Coin Guys Have No Shame

After church the TV coin shows are prevalent. Suits me. I like looking at coins and football is over an hour away….. I landed on a fellow whose name I won’t mention that is hawking rolls of 64 JFK halves at $595.00!!!! I know silver is hot right now but that’s Etsy level pricing. These guys have no shame at all!

To quote from A Christmas Story, "Football? What's a football?" That's me on Sunday.

 

Now, if that was some sort of super-shotgun roll that actually had 64 1964 halves, I'd be looking for the phone (with melt currently around $1180 for that quantity). But, no, I'm sure it's a standard roll of 20, worth about $370. Or a roll of 64 Kennedy halves, random dates.

 

I love rolls.. but I eat mine

 

Those used to be the only burger/dog buns I'd buy, but they changed the recipe fifteen or twenty years ago. Took out the fiber, and a good bit of the flavor.
