This has to be the latest in the year I've gotten a current year quarter in change. Saw a fresh Loomis roll also in the register and figured there was a chance of some fresh 2025 in the till.
You're just now getting the '25's. Here in Idaho, we have been getting them for several months. Congrats, best of luck in '26 and beyond.
I've gotten tons of Girl Scout Cookies (Juliette Gordon Low.) But I haven't seen 1 single Ida B Wells, or your coin Dr. Vera Rubin, or the current release Stacey Park Milbern. They are set to release Althea Gibson in 6 days.
I just started getting a few from the local Kings, I have found the Stacy Park Milburne and the wheelchair one, Stacy something. Edit Just read that again it's a DR, Vera Rubin.
Still haven't seen a 2025 quarter. Still need two from 2024, and several Denver mint marks going back to 2022. (Resisting my strong OCD urge to acquire them )
Congratulations! They are very difficult to find in my area. I did pick up a few while on vacation but I haven’t posted them yet.
Let me know what coins you are missing from 2022-2024 (I also get some 2025). I get Denver quarters all the time. I just need 2025 Philly quarters.
Oddly I live only about 60 miles from the Denver mint, but we never seem to get the new coins showing up until May or so. It's kind of a small town so maybe the same change keeps bouncing around.
I am in Westminster we usually see new quarters maybe in March and they start flooding in. I think it all depends on how much cash VS plastic is used in your area. This is real odd having such a late release. PS I got a 2025P Juliet Gordon Low today.
Cool! I'll be on the lookout for those and the other two. I think I still haven't gotten all of them from last year but I'd have to check, they're just in a stack on another desk and when another one comes in I decide which one is better and spend the other one. Yeah, I mostly get change from the beer store and small independent grocery (there's still one left!), and most people at the beer store use plastic. I roll my change and trade it in at that liquor store so I'm probably getting a lot of my own coins back.
Michael is serious. Philly's rarely ever make it to the front range. Except the Plateau is to the east.
OK maybe it's closer to 98%. But for example, I got 9 rolls of quarters today, and 5 of them are Celia Cruz. Those 200 are all D. But there are some P's in the others, while I fruitlessly search for a W or an S.
