This one's for Sal.

Whenever Sal posted a quarter thread I never had anything to post. Well I got this the other day from the laundry change machine.

I really liked the state quarters when they first came out. My favorites were a toss up between Pennsylvania and that Army guy that was flanked twice by Cornwallis and is now standing up in the boat.

But then the designs got boring with some of them looking less historical and more like info-commercials from the state commerce dept.

So we are posting a 1999 State Quarter for Sal, okay.

 

Here’s my Paul Revere Quarter. I posted it just for @SensibleSal66. My horse is spitting from the long fast ride. Lol

 

Horse spit on a coin is a nice change from some of the other coins we've discussed here...

 

There was also one with a die crack coming out of the horse's butt.

 

Look what I found, the whole 1999 set.

 

I think the Wyoming one is the worst. All they did was put their license plate logo on the coin.
