Found this coin while out metal detecting. There is something on it that is a rare error. I'm sure of it 99.9%. What do you think?
How can you say that?!!? Don't you know how many RARE MINT ERRORS have been destroyed by an acetone soak, leaving a coin that just looks normal?
It may have come from the mint that way. Check around for other examples. I'm pretty sure you could find one on ebay or etsy, but it would cost a fortune to buy it.
I remember 50 years ago and using Testors for models. It got you high if you spent too much time working on the project.
Happened to me when I was about 11 years old and building a model in my small, unventilated bedroom. I passed out and my face fell on top of the model I was building. I did more damage to that B-25 bomber with my face than German flak ever did! Boy, did I have a headache when I woke up.
