I'll start by saying... :(... that this is only the reverse with the super deep mirrors. But then again, if the obverse was similar to the reverse I might have never had the chance to get this coin. It would be locked away in a collection not of my own, so I'll take the small wins as they come. This one has, by far, the most DMPL surface I've ever seen on any coin. But then again, it's just one side.

Anyways, here's some scope pictures that I had taken recently. I'll attach the phone pictures shortly after this, just to make for ease of viewing.

These pictures are showing my red couch in the background. It's about 15' away from where this picture was taken and has a tan blanket on it. If that's not a DMPL, then I don't know what is!

20251003_113641.jpg 20251003_113841.jpg If I'm lucky, and also if I don't send this to CACG, it might still stand a chance of getting just a PL designation. Not that it makes much of a difference, because I'm just going to swap this with my current placeholder in my Morgan albums, most likely.

It's literally impossible to accurately depict a PL, DMPL, or proof coin with a 2 D photo. It just can't be accurately captured without a video. That being said, TPGs are really stingy with DMPL designations for business strikes. It's always just their opinion and not really much else, the difference is a very thin line.
