I know many of us have reported OBVIOUS frauds to ebay. Occasionally they actually listen. Here's how I feel when I do it. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/headbanging3pq.gif Anybody feel the same? clembo
Lol.....I have felt that way before. Sometimes, I will go through a period of just reporting every bad auction that I can find.
Yes, I have reported several bogus auctions. Mostly Trade Dollars with some Bust halves and some gold. Thise people really tick me off ripping people off like that.
You mean this kind of stuff? This guy should be arrested at best, a blanket party would be better !!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=190137668943&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=009
Read the feedback this crook gets...Thats the SCARY part. Are there actually folks this downright stoopid? I am stunned and amazed.
The person that bought this must really be dumb..He says in the listing that it is an altered date...
This is the second time he has sold the same coin. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190115476277- - LOOK - - Don't blame the seller. He says exactly what it is
Check out this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=110154291310&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=001
Yup, i feel bad for whomever Bidder 1, Bidder 2, Bidder 3, Bidder 4, Bidder 5, Bidder 6 and Bidder 7 are That's a blatent example of shill bidding and should be reported to ebay just for that alone
I usually toss in the 'reporting' towel right before my arms fall off. I've taken to contacting the seller and issuing a 'FYI, your ad is wrong and if you have morals you'll correct it & if not well, shame on you'.
I really just wanted to share the animated GIF on this one. Perhaps a bit gruesome but I KNOW I feel like that sometimes. As for contacting the seller. Yep, I do that fairly often. I find that if the seller is truly just plain ignorant I'll often get a reply. When the seller knows that you are right it's usually nasty. Then I tend to get REALLY sarcastic. Hey, I'd have a battle of wits with them but most are unarmed.
Heres another good one: The edge has been turned off in a lathe, look at the clad layers showing. Wow, $500 plus...unbelievable http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190126194854
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...Sell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget even when saying it is a fake it is a lie....added vdb no way, added *s* more like it
Look at this joker: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190118040720 a 1903 s in XF-40? Possibly a full Fine-12. or this one: 1838 O Seated dime, in MS-60? Does he know what MS-60 means? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190111625877 and the buyer's feedback: Beautiful coin and great delivery and communication!!!
The 1909 SVDB is almost certainly a complete fake. The S is completely wrong and the VDB is wrong as well. The whole style looks wrong, the rims look wrong for a 1909. They should not be that wide and the field should curve up to them.
