IMG_1192.JPG IMG_1193.JPG Got this coin back in change at a store the other day and was pleasantly surprised. I know it's not worth much but I'll be keeping it. Couldn't believe I found a 40 year old coin circulating in this good of shape. Anyone else have any cool change finds?

Every once in awhile, it seems like someone gets into someone's collection and a bunch show up in circulation. I've found quite a few 60's & 70 cents in red, nearly uncirculated condition recently while roll searching.

Cool finds, it seems like this may have also been in someone's collection that was spent. I guess I should of went back to that store that day lol.

Someone like us that hoards all coins dies, the heirs are overwhelmed and many coins we have are cashed at banks, because wholesale coin dealers only want the higher value coins.

    Who hoards coin "dies"?

Of course, and is because one cannot make a living off material very few want to buy, and even fewer are willing to pay for. It's not a bad thing, nor does it mean such coins are not perfectly collectible, but is a simple and completely understandable reality.

That's a very, very handsome one. Keep that good-looking boy safe.
