    Yes its genuine , a dutch Lion thaler (Leeuwen daalder) issued by the United provinces of the Netherlands, this one was minted in the province of Holland.
    value between 50 - 100 USD (minted by the millions)
    obv:Soldier with dutch Lion on shield. first type of silver coin that replaced the spanish silver coins from King Philip II , beginning of the 80 year war of independence against Spain.
