I’m not sure exactly how far I’ll get in this as some are pretty elusive and pricey.

An NGC MS67+* set in common denominations from $.01 to $1.

Gonna be tough to find 'em all with the plus AND the star, for sure.

Two is admirable as it is. That Morgan... whoa!

So just the cent, nickel, dime and quarter left to go, huh?

Yes sir. I’ve found dimes and quarters but they were toned and overpriced for what they were. I normally go for toned coins but think a blast white look would be a good change of pace for this set.

But now you've got one Cameo and one not -- so aren't you really working on two sets already? :troll:

That's a unique route to undertake. One that's certainly obtainable.

I like it, good luck. You might try wheat, memorial, 2009, and shield cents to give it some depth.

I only have one, and I paid handsomely for it.

They do get pricey and most owners do not want to let them go.

Is that a die crack at the top of Jefferson's head? I know little about nickels, but love those war nickels.

Yes, die cracks are very common on Jefferson Nickels, and are often used as PUPs for attributing RPMs.

    Very cool collecting goal theme!

I love your Kennedy example, I have a fondness for that series.

I have zero coins with the NGC "star" in my current collection (my Type Set).

I have only owned 1 star coin, and sold it for peanuts before CAC had the super premiums they do now. Granted, it was a lowly MS64.

My opinion means absolutely nothing, but i agree with you. I like uniformity, so, for me it would be all toned, or none toned. Now, I've never known when to shut up, so I'll go ahead and put my foot in my mouth. I actually don't care for "toned" coins. They didn't come from the mint toned, so.... now, you can take my opinion and $10, and may be able to buy a cheap cup of coffee! Love the idea and wish you well completing it.
