I tried to register with CNG over a week ago and have not heard from them. How long should it take before I can bid on lots? Also, they ask for numismatic references. Aside from buying several coins off of Vcoins I don't have any numismatic references. What are they after?

Vcoins dealers work just fine, other collectors work as well if there are any you know personally. From what I remember my registration only took a day or so but I listed another auction house as well.

So I can just list some of the better known dealers I have delt with?

I think mine took about 2 days and I didn't include any references at all:angelic:

Maybe I better just try again. My fumble fingers may have messed up.

Yup. I dunno how much CNG checks references but Agora actually contacted two of my dealers.

Well I just placed a bid. I'm one happy camper. It seems I was already registered from my attempt a week ago. I must have missed their email.

    Thanks all

I'm getting a little worried about my registration at Roma. Signed up a couple days ago and still haven't seen the approval email. :(

They're a very small operation. Hopefully you'll get your approval notice today or tomorrow. If not, give them a call or email.

@alde I left all that blank when I registered. It took 2 business days to get accepted. I register between auctions and a little while before Triton if that makes any differencr.
It is a small operation, after winning an auction I had a problem running card through and called. I was quite suprised when the lady answered and the friendliness and small talk during transaction. Almost like we met years ago and was just shootin the breeze.

Yes I use the smojo handle there also. Fyi:D
