Own 1/10 of 1% of a 10 million dollar coin ($10,000 share) as a tokenized NFT or would you rather own a slabbed $10,000 coin in hand and use of the meme: "Buy the slab not the tokenization." ?

    Coin in hand. No-brainer.

What the Lord above said. No brainer on the "coin in hand". :angelic:

I can understand buying a share of a coin, but it has zero appeal to me. It's a bit like buying a share of stock -- except that the coin doesn't produce anything like a company does, so it's a pure speculative play.

If I want a coin, I'll buy a coin. If I want a financial instrument, I'll buy one with better fundamentals.

Buying a share of a coin is like buying a 'time share' condo. You only get to hold it for two weeks out of 52........

What is a "tokenized" NFT? Is that something you have to keep trying to ward hackers away from? Hackers are smarter than I. That's what I don't like about NFTs.

Coin dealers sometimes buy a share of an expensive coin to split between them, but it's not a good idea for collectors.

The keywords I don't trust are "block" and "chain." And then there's the mysterious Japanese altruist man who supposedly invented blockchain tech just so we common folk can be "free" and "empowered." Didn't even bother to file for a patent. Now that altruism!

I admit I really know very little about NFT's or blockchain. Maybe it's all real. But I don't believe it. Ain't buying no bridges.

I would rather hold an un-slabbed coin in my hand. If I wanted to look at digitized assets, I would just check the balance on my 401K account (I guess all that money is there, who really knows).

Like "digital currency." Thanks, but I already have a Visa card.

I don't invest in things I don't understand. "Tokenized NFT" sounds like something made up by a conman.

    So you gets yo NFT
And watch that sucka go straight up
Then a few hundred folks who really shouldn’t have had $10k invested in such an ‘investment’ punch the sell button
    Then a few thousand
And more look to get out
    Big room, small door
    Riot ensues
And you end up selling tulips on the street

I've bought a few things that were too big to fit in my hand. Even a couple of things that would've been dangerous to hold in my hand. But I get your point.
