I just picked this one up today, just because it is a good strike and I didn't have this year. Oh, and it was fairly cheap.

Okay this could go two ways. I like the fairly cheap excuse. Did you tell her that. Your wife that is? About the coin, sorry.
Also, I like when wives say "It was on sale!". Try that one on for size. It might also work. ;)
Nice coin by the way!!

Thank you. I started not to get it, but it had such of a "presence" about it, that I changed my mind. As for my wife, I gave her a 3 carat diamond ring earlier this year. Last week she got two 1/2 carat (each ring) rings for ring guards to give her 3 carat a different look. She already has 2 other, different ring guards for it, so that gives her 3 different "looks" for it. Here is a picture of it with her "first" ring guard. She hasn't taken a picture with the new rings on each side of it yet. So, she's not going to "rock the boat" over a less than $30 coin.

I had this one in my watchlist but didn’t bid on it. Glad you won it, and I think you did well for the price.

I've been overdue. Saw this and got it for a price I'm happy with. The die cracks on both the obverse and reverse make up for the bag mark on the obverse 1921 Morgan.jpg

I picked these up just because... I've got them individually, but wanted a "together set", and I thought the price was very fair. I don't have a lot of "silver war Nickels", but a few and I just wanted this set. And, I wanted Dennis to have a bunch of money to spend in other coins, lol.

I’m going with the 1921-P VAM-4, look at the reeds on the bottom of the obverse :D
