U.S. coins: there is a holed 3-cent nickel and a Washington quarter. Need to know the dates and mint mark of each to determine value.

Your question can't be answered. The coins are too small to identify, and the fineness of the other metal items is unknown. Try about 6 coins at a time, 600dpi. The commemorative spoon looks promising.

Could be. You would have to show some of the items individually. Also show both sides.
Metal detecting is my favorite hobby and over the years I have found items such as yours. Their condition is very important in attribution.

I think I see 2 silver British 3 pence & a Haitian 20 Centime in there too, but would need higher resolution pics of both sides to determine value.

I see a 1796 Conder token there that might have some value and below it what looks like either a spade guinea or spade guinea token (Guinea valuable, token not so much.) The piece withthe "cross" and a dot in each quadrent looks interesting as well. The cut quarter coin needs more investigation as well.

Most of it you'd be able to find in bargain bins

The pieces do not look like anything I have found with a metal detector. They don't look "dug".

I'd be glad to help identify the coins if better images are posted.

Strange mix of items; some are clearly British and others are are clearly American. Some of the British are not old enough to show up in the 13 Colonies. Some of the gold/goldene items do not look "dug" to me, either, not a touch of corrosion, uniform coloring, etc. OP, within 20 miles, where were these dug up?
What make and model of detector?

I bought my first metal detector, a White's Coinmaster IV in July, 1970, and never found such a wide variety of items... Anyone remember a company named "The Association" dba in Oscoda,
Michigan? I was highly skeptical, and actually drove to Oscoda to pick out my machine personally; the salesmen proved to be great, however.

Seeing finds as such triggers my interest in metal detecting. Some really cool finds...From your lot my guess you're in the UK right? Some of the odd metal finding I'm guessing date back to very early dates.
Some real treasure there nice finds.

Agree with @collect99. Everything looks too clean.

Looks more like an eBay auction

No chance that these are all metal detecting finds, unless they were found in a box that was buried.

I've been detecting since 1988, and they don't look like this
