1999 Quarter. Striking error. What kind??

    It's not a Broadstruck coin if it shows a reeded edge.

    Show the edge.

    Could be a tilted collar strike with a bit of a collar clash.

    Also could be a dual Misaligned Die strike with a collar clash. A bit a finning due to high pressure applied on one side.

    It's an uncentered broadstrike with a strong collar scar on the obverse and collar clash on the reverse. It was struck with the reverse die acting as the hammer die.

    @SensibleSal66 Either your coin was struck 90* off or you didn’t rotate your photos. My head has a hard time turned in that direction. LOL
