Orders up through #12620 have been shipped.
I've spent the last week recovering from a cold/flu whatever.
That put the brakes on my production. But I'm back at it now, preparing Peace Dollars for over-striking (which takes a lot of work !) and making 1-oz and 2-oz 999 silver blanks. The next batch will likely be minted and shipped by Thursday.

    Glad you're feeling better, Daniel.

What is involved in prepping coins for overstrike?

There are quite a few steps involved and it is a proprietary process, but I will state that it involves, among other things, bead-blasting (to remove gunk and tarnish) and a mechanical process to make them slightly smaller in diameter without melting or removing any metal.

Just ordered a second one  I really have to stop now though lol.

Anyone going to send theirs in to get them graded or keep them raw?

I bought 3 of the reeded edge ones... mintage of 50. Probably going to leave them raw.

Are you talking about the Broken Sword Peace? Is the reeded edge just the normal one that's $175? Aslo how do you know there was only 50 minted

Does he ship them with the required signature method? If that's the case I'll never get mine!

I send mine to ANACS. It's pretty cheap and I like having them better protected. The custom label is pretty nice too

I had been sending them in but since ANACS is using UPS smart post I'll self slab.

ANACS and NGC both need to take a lesson from PCGS and use priority mail or express mail for higher values. Waiting for submissions to ship back from those two is rather miserable

Never thought about self slabbing. That's not a bad idea. Where do you buy them from and did you make your own moonlight mint label?

It's even worst went the shipping takes longer than the grading.

So true. That's basically what my NGC experience always is with the registered return mail.

My PCGS order took nearly 2 months.. who cares if it shipped fast?? Still would be quicker getting them back from everyone else.
