    Hello everyone,
Yesterday I did a quick 4-hour dirt fishing trip at Brooklyn's Prospect Park.
I started early and had to leave early because I made another movie day with my daughter to go see The Fantastic Four: First Steps :woot:

I did well in the 4 hours. I hit some areas near a lake that I've done good before especially with my first 1904 Barber Half found in the roots of a tree.

And my 3 Heart Stoppers as stated in my title. Why?
When I find items like these covered in dirt and you are hoping for something good such as Spanish silver, large coppers and Morgan Dollars but then they turn out to be nothing.

    2 Things happen.
My heart pounds with excitement :nailbiting:
But then I'm let down and my heart is broken :inpain:

I thought the small silver colored disc was a Spanish Half Reale - It was aluminum junk
I thought the Sacagawea was a Half Cent - It was deep and just covered in dirt.
I thought the Larde Disc was a Large Cent - It was a thin metal tag with no marks.

Ed, really like that 1927 Merc. And remember the excitement of the hunt….and all the great finds you’ve had in the past. You live in an area where you have a greater chance of finding those heartbreakers…and I know you are having loads of fun while you MD…so keep on keeping on having fun…Spark

The Sacagawea has the date on the obverse. This coin is a Native American dollar, the Sac has an eagle on the reverse and the Native American dollars, many are NIFC and have different reverses, please show the reverse.
    Nice hunt Paddy.

Another nice day for being outside and a great day for what you found in 4 hours. I hope you both enjoyed the movie.

Thanks. I couldn't see the date before. Sacagawea it is. I pulled a couple of NIFCs recently, and I thought yours could be as well. Native Hospitality, and the second is American Innovators which has a diff obverse. AH.jpg AI.jpg AIO.jpg
