How to price a OOAK coin

Just looking to see what value this error coin might have. Just wanted to see the consensus. Thank you.

I believe the coin is a damaged nickel and worth 5 cents.

 

I want to add that it's a Nickel made entirely of Cupronickel.
There are no clad layers as the OP stated on his other thread.

They believe that it is One Of A Kind. It's just a Nickel with environmental damage.

 

Yep. Looks like environmental damage. Usually I'd knock around 75% give or take off the coins value for that but its already worth face so.

 

It’s a 2005 Ocean In View Jefferson Nickel that, despite its damaged condition, is still worth five cents.

I was wondering too. I had to hire a young person at my office to cypher texts from my grandkids for me….. It’s a young persons world I reckon.
