What do we got heeya? Sorta looks like another letter next to the D in United. I cant tell if its raised, incuse or flat as its a fresh new pickup and i dont have my 16 power glass anymore. What say ye?
At first i thought clash but as i flipped the coin over to see if anything lined up i found this: feed finger gouges? (I think) and no letter in that area to create such a clash @Insider @Paddy54 @paddyman98 @SuperDave @Cascade @eddiespin @GDJMSP @rlm's cents @jtlee321 @Rick Stachowski @Amos 811 @Pickin and Grinin @MercuryBen
Again Heavy images aren't the best....my guess could range from a dropped letter to an ad normally in the die. Not having the coin in hand it's difficult to make any call on the images.
why is that not labeled full split bands? Because I see a distinct line in between the two middle bands...
Well I will have to disagree . ....it is close but no cigar there is a break . It's a nice specimen and as from the images fairly graded but not full bands.
The area in the field under UNITED looks kind of rough. Maybe pitted. Maybe it's just a planchet anomaly.
I am really not sure, from the pics it looks like it could be a dropped letter, or a pattern in the toning.
