1876 Seated Liberty Error?

    I looked at this listing on eBay and noticed something particular about the 6. It seems to be an error, not just wear over time.

    Sold ebay listing for anyone interested in photos.

    I think it looks like PMD- possibly an abandoned attempt to turn the coin into an 1870cc?
