I have been able to find a lot of information on the error ref website suggested to me here, but for this coin I can’t figure it out. It looks like the front only is stained (I did wash it with dishwashing liquid and warm water to see if I could remove it) but it’s the same. What could it be?

Also I found in my change jar a 2023 penny with an extra V after the VDB, I know there have been a few found, so my question is, is it worth grading or not because it seems to be more common than once thought. Thanks

As an experiment, you could try a little distilled water and then a "bath" in Acetone. It might come off.
Do you have a Pic of this so called, 2023 penny with an extra V.

I'm quite sure that the Dollar Coin you posted has plain old enviromental damage.
Which is why you can not find any info about it on errorref.com

Thanks, I’ll try that, for the penny, this is the pic, in the 2nd photo I took a pic of the microscope screen, so it looks a bit blurry but you need the microscope it to see it. I found info on it in google but seems it’s not that rare so I don’t know if is should waste money getting it graded
