    Tibor Mystery Giveaway
    Contest status: CLOSED
Winner: @Randy Abercrombie (announced in Post #72)
    Shipped: 7 August 2025
    Winner's receipt

I had a transaction with @tibor recently and he sent some extra money for me to do another mystery giveaway.

I purchased a United States coin.

The first person to successfully guess the date, mint, and type of this coin will win it.

Update: we had a winner! Solution to the riddle posted in Post #72.

You may guess multiple times, but you must allow at least three other contestants to guess after you have, before you may guess again. So in other words, you get to guess every fourth time. Get it?

    Ready? Go!

1878 Philadelphia Morgan Dollar? Thank you, @tibor and @lordmarcovan. This sounds like a fun game of Mastermind.

Are you going to give us some sort of feedback so we can slowly, through the process of elimination, get to the correct answer? Or are we just going to guess randomly until someone hits upon it?

It is a Philadelphia coin. @JoshuaP has solved one of the three questions.

@JoshuaP - you must now allow at least three other people to guess before you can guess again. @BuffaloHunter guessed (incorrectly) so two more get a chance before it’s your turn again.

See, everyone? That’s how it works.

This thing could go relatively quickly, or take a while. We’ll see.
