I thought he'd been talking about a move, but didn't immediately turn up the posts. The last time we moved, I swore it took 5 years off my life. That's one reason we've been in this house for 29 years. (Gonna have to move someday, though; can't live here without going up and down stairs, can't even get in or out without a few steps up or down, and there'll come a day when that's a problem.)
I told the wife when we moved in here 14 years ago that I was done with moving ourselves. Before this house, we moved twice in 3 years, I had moved 3 times in 5 years prior to that, and a few times throughout childhood. I'll pay someone else to move my crap from now on! I can box things up easily, but I will not physically move us out of this house. My back can't take it anymore! I do miss @Pickin and Grinin though. He always had something interesting to add to the conversation. Hope he's doing well!
