Recent find in a barrel bank I purchased that contained 65 Buffalo nickels and three Indian head pennies.

I just don't get the appeal of a three-legged buffalo. It is just die polishing and has happened on many many different coins over the years. The Lincoln memorial that has the roof detached comes to mind. Yes, I know that the mintage of the 3-legged buffalo makes it rare, but not my cup of tea. If it makes you happy congrats for scoring one!
