The weight is correct for missing one clad layer. (1.8-1.9)
It shouldn't look rusty though. Perhaps some better photos of the reverse.

 

What does the edge look like?

 

Looks like toning on just that side?? Need better Pics of reverse please.....

 

The edge looks about right but I'm not an expert. I thought about taking a picture of the edge but I'm not sure if my cheap phone can do it.

 

I'll try to get more pictures tomorrow in better light. I wasn't overly satisfied with these, especially the Obverse. My phone doesn't take great pictures. Or maybe it's the operator. LOL

The slight luster on the left side made me think it is good,
and better quality photos would help.

 

To me it looks to rusty in color and not coppery enough. But then, all of us are looking at a photo.

I took these in different lighting. Hopefully these are better. I have a hard time taking descent pictures of coins with this phone. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's the fact that I'm using a cheap Android phone. Anyway, you can tell it's spent a bit of time in circulation with the various dings on it.

 

Again, to me it reinforces what I just said, too rusty and not coppery enough.

Only my opinion based on photos. Others have given their opinions. Hang on to it until you can have it checked out more thoroughly.

 

Have to use something besides a phone. In order to see the details clearer.
Someone has to have a digital camera or a super duper phone that takes better photos. People are shocked when I tell them I have never had a cell phone. Even 15-20 years ago they didn't believe me when I said I didn't have a phone. (I do have a land line. For now.)
