    What would you grade this Gold Dollar? Btw it's not my coin yet.

    Assuming a good amount of luster is there +1 also, if only traces of luster left EF-40.

    There appears to be a lot of wear on the indian, leaves and ears for XF IMHO

    Thanks everyone,the coin is not graded by a TPG yet, but I like it for it's honest wear and the light toning.
    I saw it in the AU50 -53 camp, but now I see what you mean......a clear xf.

    I would not be surprised if it were in an AU holder from one of the major TPGs and I would personally call it a high end XF (or lower level AU).
