2016 France 5 Ounce Silver Medal

Such a beautiful piece to be sure. But a price tag of $895.00 for a PF70 UCAM signed by Mercanti? This is $100.00 more for just the signature. Has anyone here purchased this piece in any condition? My budget will not allow for this but what a nice addition to any collection.

It is beautiful, not 8X the melt value beautiful though.

 

I saw the announcement the other day. Beautiful design. When I saw the price I was no way I can buy it. :-(

 

The design is very cool. I might consider buying if the mintage was extremely limited, such as under 100 pieces. Otherwise, that's some way too pricey bullion.

 

I only quoted the Mercanti one. It's around $200.00 in PF69 DCAM.

 

Where? The ones I saw were almost $900!!

I deleted the ad but I think it was MCM over on the Bay. Although it might have directly from them as I'm subscribed to their emails. Big difference between the PF69 DCAM & PF70 UCAM.

 

I got an email from them too but the website, not EBay, showed almost $900. I'll have to look again

MCM has it slabbed in MS69 for $795. I didn't see it in a proof version.

 

The ad I receive said $795 for the 69 and $895 for the 70. I would likely pull the trigger if $200. TC
