To grade or not to grade?

    Hi all!

    I'm here to ask you guys if you think I should bother getting this 1990 Roosevelt Dime graded. With a high enough grade, it could be worth quite a bit. I just don't want to lose money through grading. It's part of a 1990 uncirculated set. The photos are attached. Thank you!

    what grade are you trying to get out of it?

    MS67+ (Hoping for MS68)

    Well, you'd need 67+ to not lose money. I can't tell from the pictures if you'd get that or not. If you're uncertain, it's best to show the coin in hand to someone who has experience getting good grades on moderns. It's typically not possible to make a call between 67 and 68 based on an online photo.

    Thanks guys! I'll have to go to my local coin dealer to see if he would have any knowledge.

    Not worth the expense of sending it in. Just leave it where it is.
