Thoughts on this Lincoln

    So what are your thoughts on this Lincoln penny? Definitely a punch problem. Don't worry - I'm not saying that I have the next ten million dollar coin (I'm sure I could list it for a cool million on ebay tho ;)) WIN_20250612_17_35_47_Pro.jpg

    It's a simple Misaligned Die Strike.
    I have noticed over the years that it was a common issue on many early 1970's Cents. I have an full album dedicated to Misaligned Die Strikes.

    Coins are not punched :punch:
    They are struck, minted ;)

    Lots of coins have this same problem, it’s a misaligned die strike or MAD.
