This was me until last week. The following coins were submitted at the 2025 FUN show in early January and are now making their way home. Finally. Was it worth the wait? Reckon so. My little Greek crab graded as expected and got a “Fine Style” designation as a bonus. Always nice to see on an ancient. Always loved this type. Giant crab. Ketos sea monster snatching a fish. Eagle snatching a hare. A very active and predatory design! The British 1797 “Cartwheel” 2 pence exceeded expectations. I figured it would go AU50. This is the coin that caused the crazy long wait, because I submitted it under the World Economy tier. Advice: if you submit under that tier, add your next of kin information to the form, so your heirs will get the coin if you die of old age while waiting for the grades to drop. The US $3 was no surprise- it was already NGC AU58 in an older slab. I wanted photos so I paid for Photovision imaging and a reholder. I’m happy with the pics. Doug Plascenscia at NGC does good work.
@lordmarcovan Even though it was longer than you expected, it looks like it was well worth the wait. 3 great examples for your collection.
I like all 3 coins…I see why you sent them. Great pics for great coins. And welcome back from your hiatus, I know you were really busy. Great to have you back posting…Spark
If nothing else, I have to say that it would be difficult to fit more numismatic variety into 3 coins. Your collection must be HUGE!
Great coins and welcome back! You missed my birthday but better late than never do anyone of those three will suit me fine. lol and glad your back with us.
